Download & Installation
MSI Installer | EXE Installer | CLI Script
Recommended: MSI for most windows installations.
CLI requires network administration qualifications. SMB will not be supported via CLI
WINGET:
winget ClickPOS.ClickPOSProxy
Post Installation
Access the Proxy Dashboard
Dashboard: http://localhost or http://<IP ADDRESS>
Access dashboard via HTTPS or HTTP.
The dashboard can also be accessed via the system tray.
Note: SSL is automatically deployed/signed to allow immediate secure access.
If the proxy is setup in ClickPOS as secure, you may need to install the proxy SSL certificate into the Windows Trusted Root Store.
The same certificate can be installed on other PC's on the same network that will be required to print to the same proxy printers.
PROXY IP ADDRESS MUST REMAIN THE SAME
It is important to keep the proxy PC IP Address the same where possible to avoid having to reconfigure the proxy host information in ClickPOS.
IPV4 address can be set to static in Windows (network adaptor settings) or an IP Reservation can be set at the router level.
Installed MSI/EXE's come packed with a system tray application for easy access to dashboard UI and other features.
Right clicking the tray will provide useful options and printer/s status
User Guide - Basic Usage
Once installed, you can access the userguide within the dashboard or by visiting https://localhost/userguide.html
Printing & EFTPOS Combinations
The proxy and chrome extension ClickPOS Bridge, will allow a combination of all printers with all EFTPOS providers supported by ClickPOS.
The configuration will vary depending on the combination.
The Chrome Extension is only required for direct EPSON DIRECT PRINT method bypass and LINKLY TCP-IP.
It should automatically install in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera. If you require it for another CHROMIUM browser, a new browser installation, or it failed to install during the proxy installation.
Download at https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/clickpos-bridge/ipbodbobiibbobplakeofjalgabmjfmc ensuring you are downloading and installing using your preferred chromium browser.
Click HERE to see if your browser is chromium based.
Printing Only

Legacy OPOS Printer Chrome Extension Bypass
This is the easiest to establish as there are no configuration requirements in the Proxy UI.
(Note: Any manufacturer OPOS printer is supported)Method 1. Epson Direct Print
Ensure the OPOS driver is installed and the printer/cashdrawer are connected using ClickPOS OPOS method. (LDN's: EPSONPOS for Printer, and EPSONCASH for cashdrawer)
Epson Direct Print is set as the default printer in ClickPOS Intelligent Functions.Note: This is targetting the epson common control object which is used by 95% of POS printer manufacturers. The manufacturer OPOS for your printer should be fine to utilise.
THE BROWSER EXTENSION MUST BE INSTALLED AND ACTIVE
The proxy should install the extension, but if not, it can be downloaded from the Chrome Store:
Chrome Web Store - ClickPOS Bridge
If not using Chrome, ensure you visit and download the bridge from the chrome store in your preferred browser. All Chromium browsers are compatible.Method 2. Proxy Bypass
The manufacturers OPOS driver must be installed, and the printer add/configured with ANY Logical Device Name (LDN)
E.g.. POSPRINTER
The cashdrawer LDN must start with CD_ followed by the printers LDN set in the above step.
E.g.. CD_POSPRINTER
ClickPOS Configuration
This requires the proxy to be defined in ClickPOS Intelligent Functions (Maintain > System Admin > Functions > Intelligent Print Setup.
- Set to Master, Print Timeout (ms) set to 60000, enter the target IP address of the PC the proxy is installed on, the Device ID must be proxy.
- The OPOS Printer must also be added to the same area, set printer type to Slave, 60000 Timeout, enter the target IP address of the PC the proxy is installed on (Same as Master)
The Device ID must start with ":" followed by the LDN set in OPOS.
E.g.. :POSPRINTER -
Epson ePOS/TMi Printer
ePOS printers connected to the same LAN network will be automatically detected by the proxy.
The Device ID must be set in the proxy to match the same Device ID set within the ePOS printer Web UI.
Once assigned, the ePOS printer will display with a ready status. The proxy will provide error messages such as lid open, paper out, jam, etc.. for easy troubleshooting.
ClickPOS Configuration
The proxy will need to be set in ClickPOS Intelligent Functions using the Master/Slave method
If EPSON DIRECT PRINT is preferred, no configuration is required in ClickPOS.
This relies purely on the Chrome browser extension (ClickPOS Bridge).
The proxy just needs to be installed and listening.
Note: This method is much slower than configuring the proxy using the below OPOS Legacy Printer method.

Proxy Master Configuration
IP Address: IP Address of the Windows Host PC where proxy is installed
Device ID: proxy
Timeout: 60000
Printer Type: Master
Secure: Optional
Important: Secure is advised, but non secure will work in most cases.
If proxy is secure, the printers should also be set to secure.
Printer Configuration
ePOS Supported Printers via Proxy in ClickPOS
IP Address: IP Address of the Windows Host PC where proxy is installed
Device ID: The Device ID must be identical to the the ID set in the ePOS printer
Timeout: 60000
Printer Type: Slave
Secure: Same as proxy
OPOS Legacy Printers via Proxy in ClickPOS
IP Address: IP Address of the Windows Host PC where proxy is installed
Device ID: This must be : followed by the Logical Device Name set in the OPOS driver interface.
e.g.. if the Logical Device Name is POS Printer, then the Device ID must be :POS Printer
: signals to the proxy to send the print job to the OPOS driver.
Timeout: 60000
Printer Type: Slave
Secure: Same as proxy
PRINTING & EFTPOS
EFTPOS can be setup in ClickPOS any way that fits your business and solution.
The proxy will not require any additional configuration.
Currently (no proxy) is limited to certain printing methods working with certain eftpos solutions due to the connection technology of the EFTPOS solution.
Introducing the proxy and browser extension will remove the EFTPOS to PRINTER restrictions.
